Banyo ve mutfak evin en önemli parçalarından birisidir. Banyolar kişisel bakım yapılan suya sürekli olarak maruz kalan alanlardan birisidir. Mutfakta gün içerisinde yemek yapımı, bulaşık gibi işlerin yer aldığı suyun sürekli kullanıldığı bir alandır. Bu nedenle bu alanların su tesisatınınen iyi şekilde yapılması gerekmektedir. Yanlış yapılmış, deforme olmuş ya da zamana uygun olmayan tesisatlar da ileri de büyük sorunlar yaşanacaktır. Tadilat aşamasına geçilmeden önce mutfak içerisinde banyo tadilatında olduğu gibi incelemeler yapılmalıdır. Tesisat sorunları ve mobilya sorunları bulunuyorsa bunlar tespit edilerek düzeltme işlemine geçilir. Kişinin istekleri de dinlenilerek belirtilen isteklere uygun tadilat aşamasına geçilmelidir. Ancak geçilmeden önce mutfak içerisinde bulunan eşyaların ölçümü iyi bir şekilde yapılmalıdır.
Kırma ve taşıma işlemleri tadilat öncesinde yapılan ilk işlemdir. İncelenen mutfağa uygun çıkarılan projeye göre kırma işlemlerine başlanır. Daha sonra su tesisatının yeri tespit edilir. Tesisat,çıkarılan projeye göre yeniden yapılandırılarak düzenlenir. Tüm alt yapıya ait işlemler bittikten sonra kişi isteklerine göre mutfağın döşemeleri takılır ve tadilat işlemleri bitirilir.

Su tesisatının montajı aşamasında uygulanan kat borularında mümkün olduğu sürece kısa olmalıdır. Boruların montajı yapılırken suyun akışını engellemeyecek şekilde döşenmesi gereklidir. Düşeyden yataya doğru geçen bir boru tesisatında yay dirsek ya da iki açık dirsek kullanılmalıdır.
Montaj işlemleri, evin çıkarılan projesine göre yeniden yapılandırıldığı için ona uygun bir sistem belirlenmelidir. Özellikle zemin üzerine döşenecek borular altlarına ve yanlarına ince bir kum yardımıyla beslenerek, sert cisimlerden korunmalıdır. Sert cisimlerin teması halinde boru sistemine ve su tesisatına herhangi bir sorun gelmemesi adına alınacak en iyi önlemlerden birisi budur. Aynı zamanda su tesisatının montajı yapılırken döşenecek olan borular beton ve kireçle temas halinde olmamalıdır. Temas etme söz konusu olacak ise kılıf ya da benzer bir önlem alınmalıdır. Ayı zamanda tüm borulara montaj yapılmadan önce test yapılmalıdır.
